The contract agreement is for Ammonia synthesis package and Ammonium Nitrate production
Bharat Coal Gasification and Chemicals Limited (BCGCL), a joint venture of Coal India Limited (51%) and BHEL (49%), is setting up India’s first coal-to-ammonium nitrate project in Lakhanpur, Odisha.
The company has signed contract agreement with Larsen & Toubro for Ammonia synthesis package and Ammonium Nitrate production for its upcoming coal gasification project at Jharsuguda Odisha.
Deepak Agrawal, CTO, BCGCL signed the agreement for both the packages with Shirish Dalal, Vice President and Head L&T at BCGCL Noida office.
With signing of these contracts, BCGCL has concluded contract agreement for all four major packages.
