WAVE PRO is the next-generation iteration of the WAVE software
DuPont Water Solutions has unveiled a major upgrade to its flagship water treatment modeling platform, Water Application Value Engine (WAVE PRO), adding reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) capabilities.
The enhanced platform now combines ultrafiltration (UF), ion exchange (IX), RO, and NF in a single, comprehensive solution for drinking water, industrial utility water, wastewater, and seawater desalination projects.
WAVE PRO is the next-generation iteration of the WAVE software, guiding water professionals through complex treatment design with a powerful calculation engine that enables highly accurate system modeling. Leveraging real performance data, the platform allows users to simulate specific feedwater conditions and operational scenarios, optimizing system configurations while factoring in project-specific economics to improve operating costs and water balance.

The platform integrates DuPont Water Solutions technologies including DuPont IntegraTec and Inge ultrafiltration modules, DuPont AmberLite ion exchange resins, and FilmTec reverse osmosis and nanofiltration elements.
With the addition of RO and NF, WAVE PRO now provides access to FilmTec brackish and seawater membranes, nanofiltration elements, and FilmTec Fortilife elements, offering engineers a more complete toolbox for confident water treatment system design.
Existing WAVE users can transition seamlessly to WAVE PRO, which is web-based, secure, and accessible from any computer or tablet with a single sign-in. Compatible with both Microsoft Windows and iOS, the platform supports collaboration across teams and automatically updates with the latest enhancements.
