Nuberg EPC, the global engineering and EPC arm of the Nuberg Group, has completed the design and supply of a 100–150 TPD Emergency Chlorine Absorption System for Colombia-based BRINSA (Brinsa S.A.).

 

This marks another milestone in its international expansion and strengthening its presence in the Latin American chemicals market.

 

The system, based on Nuberg's proprietary Sodium Hypochlorite (Hypo) technology, is scheduled for commissioning in October 2026. The project scope includes design and detailed engineering, complete equipment supply, supervision of erection and installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning, as well as performance guarantee of the plant.

 

With the full system supply already completed, Nuberg EPC has met a key project milestone while demonstrating its ability to execute complex engineering projects within global delivery timelines.

 

Designed to safely absorb and convert chlorine into sodium hypochlorite, the emergency chlorine absorption system is expected to enhance operational safety, improve process efficiency, and support environmental compliance. Leveraging its in-house process technology, Nuberg EPC continues to provide integrated solutions for advanced chemical processing applications.

 

The project also reinforces the company's expertise across the chlor-alkali value chain, spanning chlorine handling and processing, sodium hypochlorite, hydrochloric acid, bleaching chemicals, and other downstream chlorine derivatives. Nuberg's integrated engineering approach—from process design through commissioning—helps customers improve efficiency, safety, and operational scalability.

 

The BRINSA project adds to Nuberg EPC's growing international portfolio, particularly in Latin America, where demand for advanced chlorine processing technologies continues to rise.
