Wison Engineering has secured the largest EPC contract in its history, winning a US$3.9 billion award from ADNOC Gas for Phase 2 of the Rich Gas Development (RGD) Project in Abu Dhabi.

The contract, which includes a 220KV switch station, brings the total value of the award to approximately US$4.04 billion, marking a major breakthrough for Wison Engineering as it expands its presence in the Middle East.

The project, known as the New Natural Gas Processing Train at Habshan, will be built in Abu Dhabi's Habshan area for ADNOC Gas, the gas-processing arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

Wison Engineering will deliver a large-scale natural gas processing train, covering gas pipelines, separation and condensate stabilization units, acid gas removal units and deep natural gas liquids (NGL) recovery facilities, alongside the 220KV switch station.

Once operational, the new train is expected to increase ADNOC Gas' processing capacity, improve operational flexibility and support the UAE's expanding downstream and petrochemical industries.

The record-setting award underscores ADNOC Gas' confidence in Wison Engineering's engineering, project management and delivery capabilities. It also strengthens Wison's credentials in delivering large, complex oil and gas infrastructure for major international energy companies.

Wison said it will draw on its expertise in oil and gas processing, large-scale facility design and integrated EPC project management to deliver the project safely and efficiently. Its Abu Dhabi operations will be backed by a global supply chain and engineering network as the company executes the onshore works.

The contract also gives Wison a stronger platform to support ADNOC Gas' strategic growth ambitions through 2030 while deepening the company's foothold in one of the world's most important energy markets.

The landmark win comes as Wison Engineering continues to expand across the Middle East and other major oil and gas markets. The company said it will build on the project to strengthen its international competitiveness, align with global energy-transition trends and pursue further opportunities in energy infrastructure.

The RGD Phase 2 award marks a significant step up in scale for Wison Engineering — and a powerful endorsement of its ambitions in the global energy sector.
