The agreement positions Wood to provide complex engineering, design, and project management services across Aramco’s strategic portfolio

Wood has won a five-year Long-term Agreement (LTA) from Aramco to deliver in-kingdom capital project support, strengthening its role in one of the world’s most significant energy investment programs.

The agreement—extendable by up to three additional years—positions Wood to provide complex engineering, design, and project management services across Aramco’s strategic portfolio, spanning oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, and lower-carbon hydrogen initiatives.

Nick Shorten, Executive President of Projects at Wood, said: “This agreement reinforces our position as a trusted delivery partner for Aramco and reflects our long-term commitment to supporting Aramco’s energy portfolio.”

The partnership builds on more than 30 years of collaboration between the two companies. In 2024, Wood also secured a major engineering services contract tied to Aramco’s Southern and Northern Areas gas increments project in Saudi Arabia, aimed at boosting national gas production.

Under the new LTA, Wood will deploy its roughly 900-strong in-kingdom workforce while coordinating closely with its Reading office in the UK to execute engineering design work for Aramco’s projects.
