The renewed agreement will see Worley continue to deliver EPC services across CNOOC’s UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) assets
Worley has secured a five-year renewal of its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) framework agreement with CNOOC International’s UK business, extending a 12-year partnership supporting offshore operations across the North Sea.
The renewed agreement will see Worley continue to deliver EPC services across CNOOC’s UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) assets, including the Scott, Buzzard and Golden Eagle fields.
The scope spans the full project lifecycle, covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, completions and decommissioning. Work will range from like-for-like replacements and brownfield modifications to larger-scale project scopes.
The renewal strengthens Worley’s position in the North Sea and underlines its ongoing commitment to the Aberdeen area and the region’s energy supply chain.
Over the past 12 years, Worley has delivered more than 1,100 scopes of work under the framework, supporting CNOOC in maintaining the integrity, reliability and performance of its offshore assets.
That track record, combined with Worley’s detailed knowledge of CNOOC’s assets, is designed to help deliver efficient solutions while minimising operational disruption and maximising value.
Safety has also been a defining feature of the partnership. More than five million work hours have been completed without a Lost Time Incident over the 12-year period, highlighting the focus on safe delivery across North Sea operations.
Graham Swan, Senior Vice President, UK, Worley said: "This renewal highlights the strength of our long-standing partnership with CNOOC and the consistent performance of our team in the North Sea.
"As offshore assets mature, operators are increasingly looking for flexible delivery models that balance operational performance, asset integrity and long-term value, and Worley is well positioned to deliver that. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with CNOOC to support safe and efficient operations across their UK assets over the next five years.”
