Global energy leaders, policymakers and investors will converge in Abu Dhabi in November as ADIPEC 2026 puts energy security, infrastructure, artificial intelligence and investment at the centre of the global energy debate.

 

Held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, the event will run from 2–5 November 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

 

The world’s largest energy conference and exhibition will bring together energy ministers, CEOs, technology leaders, investors and industry executives as the sector faces rising energy demand, geopolitical volatility, infrastructure constraints and the rapid expansion of AI.

 

The expanded programme is designed to move beyond debate and focus on the capital, technology, partnerships and projects needed to strengthen energy security and support economic growth.

ADIPEC’s Strategic Conference has been redesigned for 2026 around the forces reshaping global energy, including rising demand, energy security, infrastructure, investment, AI, industrial execution and workforce capability.

 

Across 11 programmes and more than 380 sessions, ministers, CEOs, investors, policymakers and technology leaders will examine how to expand energy supply, accelerate infrastructure delivery and improve the long-term performance of energy systems.

 

New Strategic Conference programmes include Energy Security & Resilience; Policy, Regulation & Governance; Upstream; Clean Power, Molecules & Carbon Management; Grids, Infrastructure & Industrial Execution; and Workforce & Skills.

 

Existing programmes have also been updated to reflect emerging priorities, including AI, Digital & Technology Innovation and Downstream, Chemicals & Industrial Value Chains.

 

The Strategic Conference will run alongside the Technical Conference, including its SPE Technical and Downstream Technical programmes, bringing together energy engineers and technical experts to translate strategy into operational delivery.

 

Early confirmed speakers include UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei; Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi; Jordan’s Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh; Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas) Ekperikpe Ekpo; and senior executives from major global energy firms.
