DCM Shriram Chemicals rolls out Gujarat’s first electric AC staff bus at Jhagadia unit

DCM Shriram Chemicals has taken a major step towards sustainable workplace mobility with the launch of Gujarat’s first Electric AC staff bus at its Jhagadia manufacturing unit. This sets a new benchmark for employee-centric and climate-responsible operations.

The new Electric AC staff bus was formally flagged off at the Jhagadia unit by Aditya Shriram, Deputy Managing Director, DCM Shriram Ltd, along with Sabaleel Nandy, Executive Director & CEO, DCM Shriram Chemicals; BM Patel, President & COO, DCM Shriram Chemicals; Pushkar Kumar, Senior Vice President & CHRO; and Jayanti Parmar, Vice President & Head–HR (Jhagadia Unit), in the presence of employees and senior leadership.
The move reflects DCM Shriram Chemicals’ integrated sustainability strategy, where climate responsibility, operational excellence and employee well-being intersect.
