SNF Flopam India achieved a major sustainability milestone by inaugurating its 800 KLD Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant on July 8, 2026. Spearheaded by Chairman and Managing Director Shital Khot, the facility underscores the company's commitment to responsible manufacturing, environmental protection, and optimized water resource management.
The launch of SNF Flopam India's new ZLD plant marks a major step forward for sustainable industrial infrastructure. By utilizing next-generation water recovery systems, the company is reducing environmental impact, strengthening its ESG initiatives, and driving India’s goals for a greener industrial future.
The newly commissioned 800 KLD ZLD Plant is equipped with advanced treatment systems designed to maximize water recovery, recycle treated water back into the manufacturing process and eliminate liquid effluent discharge from the facility. This initiative will significantly reduce freshwater consumption, improve resource efficiency, and ensure full compliance with environmental regulations.
The new facility champions sustainable innovation by maximizing water recovery and achieving Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD). It entirely prevents industrial wastewater from polluting the environment, dramatically lowers reliance on fresh water, and ensures strict regulatory compliance while protecting local ecosystems.
Speaking on the occasion, the Management of SNF Flopam India emphasized that sustainability remains one of the company's core business priorities.
