The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and TKIL Industries have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build a strategic partnership focused on sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and advanced green technologies.

The MoU was signed by Dr Vibha Dhawan, Director General, TERI, and Vivek Bhatia, Managing Director, TKIL Industries, at TERI's IHC office in the presence of senior representatives from both organisations.

During the interaction, Dr Dhawan and Bhatia discussed opportunities and challenges associated with scaling hydrogen in India. The conversation highlighted the need to build a robust hydrogen ecosystem through pilot projects, infrastructure development, market creation, and collaborative research. They also underscored the importance of innovation, cost competitiveness, and evaluating diverse hydrogen pathways to support India's long-term energy transition goals.
