Celanese Corporation will showcase its full range of engineered material solutions for advanced mobility at the 2023 Battery Show North America taking place September 12-14 in Novi, Michigan. These offerings are helping to accelerate innovation for advanced mobility applications, many of which rely heavily on engineering thermoplastics.

Celanese will feature New Overmolding Materials, Battery Demonstrator and All-in-1 EV Battery Module Prototype at the exhibition.

In addition, a hybrid thermoplastic aluminum cooling plate developed with Novares, a global automotive tier 1, will be on display. Based on Celanese ZytelBond treatment technology, it quickly bonds and welds aluminum to injection-molded parts made of Zytel PA, Zytel HTN or Celanyl PA. Zytel HTN will also be highlighted in handles and plugs that connect electric charging station cables to a car's charging socket, providing structural strength and electrical compatibility.

"As our automotive customers advance the electrification process, Celanese is well positioned to meet the needs of the future with its integrated engineered materials portfolio," said Tom Kelly, senior vice president, Engineered Materials at Celanese. "We have been developing innovative solutions that help manufacturers meet mobility challenges for decades and look forward to collaborating with visitors at the Battery Show to explore how they can create better products using our advanced materials platforms."
