PPG highlights coatings for battery electric vehicles at The Battery Show in Germany

PPG will also highlight coatings solutions for the design, construction and production of lithium-ion battery cells

PPG today announced that it will showcase its growing portfolio of paints and coatings for battery electric vehicles (EV) at The Battery in Stuttgart, Germany, May 23-25.

PPG’s exhibit will include battery fire protection and thermal management solutions, as well as dielectric coating systems that improve performance, durability and safety, along with other coatings innovations that are supporting the shift to battery EVs.

PPG will also highlight coatings solutions for the design, construction and production of lithium-ion battery cells, modules, and packs. These coatings enhance performance, safety, and manufacturability, enabling auto makers, and battery and component manufacturers to accelerate the development of energy storage solutions.
