SK Innovation meets with global energy experts to secure future growth engines
SK Innovation announced that it will hold the 'SK Innovation Global Forum' in San Jose, California, USA. The forum will be attended by around 10 key executives from SK Innovation affiliates, including Lee Seok-hee, CEO of SK On, Lee Sung-joon, Director of SK Innovation Environmental Science and Technology Institute, and around 50 people from academia and industry related to global energy.
Since 2021, SK Innovation has been hosting a global forum to expand its global network that will help implement SK Innovation’s affiliate strategies. Through this, SK Innovation is strengthening its global competitiveness by exchanging and cooperating with excellent overseas talents.
Specifically, this year’s forum will hold five sessions: Secondary Batteries, Battery Thermal Runaway Prevention Technology, Geo Biz & Tech, Carbon Materials, Open Innovation, and discuss future energy strategies and battery technology development directions. Each session will focus on the direction of discussion and be operated in various forms, such as group discussions and expert presentations.
SK Innovation will also directly discover global talents who will lead the future energy business at this event. At the global forum held last year, SK Innovation secured a pool of excellent talents, including employees of global energy companies and scholars from leading universities, and is continuing its networking.
