Both parties have expressed their intent to collaborate on LFP and other high-quality raw materials
Wanhua Chemical Battery Technology (Wanhua Chemical) and ElevenEs, a prominent European manufacturer of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Meishan, Sichuan.
The signing ceremony was attended by Wang Xiaoxing, General Manager of Wanhua Chemical Battery Technology, and Nemanja Mikać, Founder and CEO of ElevenEs.
The strategic partnership aims to establish a robust supply and technical collaboration spanning key battery materials, including LFP cathode materials, PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) binders, and NMP (N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone) solvents. This initiative supports the shared goal of driving sustainable growth within the global new energy sector.
Under the agreement, both parties have expressed their intent to collaborate on LFP and other high-quality raw materials. They will jointly establish a technical team to facilitate the exchange of technical and market insights, aiming to accelerate product innovation and market expansion. Wanhua Chemical will leverage its production facilities and global supply chain network to support ElevenEs' battery manufacturing operations in Serbia.
Wang Xiaoxing said: “This strategic collaboration with ElevenEs represents a major milestone in Wanhua Chemical’s efforts to localize battery material supply chains in Europe. By leveraging our strengths in material R&D, advanced production processes, and global presence, we aim to provide ElevenEs with high-performance LFP cathode materials and integrated solutions, jointly driving the sustainable growth of Europe’s new energy industry.”
Mikać stated: “Wanhua Chemical’s deep expertise in battery materials and extensive global production capabilities will play a crucial role in helping ElevenEs achieve our localized supply chain objectives. This partnership enhances our raw material security and fosters innovation through technical collaboration, enabling us to deliver more competitive LFP battery solutions to the European market.”
