Balaji Amines Limited commenced commercial production at its Acetonitrile (ACN) plant in Solapur on September 24, 2026. The facility now operates with an enhanced installed capacity of 1,440 tonnes per month (TPM).
The commissioning marks the completion of the expansion and modernisation programme for the unit located at Chincholi MIDC. The company utilised advanced technology to upgrade the plant, which serves both domestic and international markets.
The newly commissioned plant is part of the company's Unit III operations. The move strengthens Balaji Amines' position in the speciality chemicals sector by increasing supply availability for key industrial applications.
