The execution timeline for this contract is specified as August 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026, indicating a short-term supply arrangement typical for commodity chemical trading.

GNFC restarts Gujarat acetic acid plant

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals (GNFC) restarted its acetic acid plant in Bharuch, Gujarat, in August 2026 after a shutdown of roughly three months. The facility had been taken off-stream earlier due to negative feedstock margins and unfavorable market conditions.

Websol Plans 600 MW mono-PERC-to-TOPCon Cell Line Transition

Websol Energy System has officially commenced the brownfield upgradation of its existing 600 MW Mono PERC solar cell manufacturing line to advanced TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology. Websol s investing approximately Rs. 270 crore to fund the conversion process. Upon completion, Websol's aggregate cell manufacturing capacity will rise from 1.2 GW to 1.35 GW, with TOPCon cells comprising roughly 55% of total capacity.
