NCLT approves Kansai Nerolac Paints amalgamation with Nerofix from April 1, 2025

Kansai Nerolac Paints has secured regulatory clearance from the Mumbai Bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to absorb its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nerofix Private Limited. The corporate restructuring moves Nerofix's core adhesives and construction chemicals operations directly into the parent coatings company. The integration is structured to take effect retroactively from the designated appointed date of April 1, 2025.

Located in the Junagadh district, the 6.88-hectare block contains an estimated 5.67 lakh MT (5,67,337 MT) of limestone reserves. This acquisition strengthens the company's long-term backward integration strategy, ensuring a reliable supply of essential raw materials for its core chemical manufacturing operations.
