Chambal Fertilisers Q4 FY2019-20 PAT up 18%
Company's operational PAT (Profit After tax) has increased by 18.33% to reach Rs. 108.71 crore in Q4 FY2019-20 vis-a-vis Rs. 91.87 crore in Q4 FY2018-19.

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (CFCL) Operational PAT (Profit After tax) has increased by 18.33% to reach Rs. 108.71 crore in Q4 FY2019-20 vis-a-vis Rs. 91.87 crore in Q4 FY2018-19.
Operational PAT for FY2019-20 has increased by 61.45% to reach Rs. 880.34 crore vis-a-vis Rs. 545.27 crore in FY2018-19.
Revenue from operations for Q4 FY2019-20 has reached Rs. 1,969 crore vis-a-vis Rs. 3,832 crore in Q4 FY2018-19. Revenue from operations for FY2019-20 has reached Rs. 12,206 crore vis-a-vis Rs. 10,095 crore in FY2018-19.
During FY2019-20 Gadepan-III Plant achieved 100% capacity utilisation and quality parameters. Gadepan-III Plant subsidy working was according to parameters notified under New Investment Policy 2012. Having sold software subsidiaries, the company is now a pure fertiliser and agri-inputs focussed entity. In the fourth quarter, branded agri-inputs has done very well for the company.
During Q4 of FY 2019-20, Gadepan-III Plant operated for 65 days as against 90 days in FY 2018-19. Production and sales were down by approximately 1 Lac MT Q-O-Q. Planned shutdown of Gadepan-III Plant was taken in March 2020, causing higher repair & maintenance expenses resulting in higher fixed cost.
