Chemical Secretary Baroka releases ‘Chemical Industry Outlook 2023’

Chemical Industry Outlook 2023 is an exclusive collection of premium content for decision makers of the industry

Arun Baroka, Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India released the 3rd edition of Chemical Industry Outlook (CIO). Published by Indian Chemical News (ICN), CIO 2023 highlights the current scenario and future roadmap of the industry and explains the strategy to make India a chemical manufacturing hub keeping the sustainability as core focus. Appreciating ICN’s initiative, Baroka said that this is a good initiative and expressed that the compendium will be helpful for the industry. He also suggested to focus on data accuracy.

Susanta Kumar Purohit,  Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India, also lauded ICN’s effort to publish the Compendium. Other Senior Officials from the Department also praised ICN for publishing the Annual Compendium.  

As the nation celebrates ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ commemorating 75 years of India’s independence, the theme for the third edition of the compendium is ‘India@75: Looking Back, Looking Ahead’. The compendium is an exclusive collection of premium content for CXO level people highlighting the past achievements, latest trends, future projections and analysis from Chemicals, Petrochemicals, and Energy sectors.

The compendium aims to highlight the critical role that the Chemicals sector plays in country’s economic growth and how it can catalyze the Government’s dream of a self-reliant, prosperous, advanced and modern India by 2047. It features 75 interviews and columns from Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Energy, and other allied sectors with a focus on policy, global trends, green and sustainability, renewable energy, decarbonisation and net zero, regulatory, recycling and circular economy, feedstock, technology, R&D, digitalization, logistics and supply chain, hydrogen, EV, battery and other related segments.
