Cosmo Speciality Chemicals, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cosmo First Limited, has launched CosmoFlex, an advanced analog printable coating system engineered to boost printability and ink adhesion on flexible packaging and label films. 

Developed by Cosmo Speciality Chemicals, the new range directly resolves a critical challenge for converters and printers: securing robust, long-lasting ink adhesion across film substrates while ensuring optimal performance under demanding handling and storage conditions. 

CosmoFlex is an eco-friendly, ready-to-use primer that enhances printability and ink adhesion. This versatile coating solution offers broad compatibility across multiple printing methods, including water-based and UV flexo, UV offset, thermal transfer, screen, and letterpress. 

The product range includes two specialised solutions: CosmoFlex CB01, developed for BOPP films and CosmoFlex CP02, developed for PET films.   

The newly launched coatings directly address the packaging and labeling industry's need for versatile, high-performance solutions. Rigorous testing confirms that both products offer superior ink anchorage, rub resistance, and print durability. Notably, their ability to maintain integrity under cold-water and deep-freezer conditions makes them ideal for demanding storage environments, regardless of the substrate or printing technology used.
