British speciality chemicals major Croda’s Fragrance and Flavours unit has delivered a standout performance in 2025, defying a turbulent global backdrop to post record-breaking growth and reinforce its position as a key engine of the group’s Consumer Care business.

The division—spanning Iberchem, Parfex and Scentium—reported sales of €380 million, marking a sharp 15% rise at constant currency. The results not only surpassed internal expectations but also extended a streak of consistent double-digit growth, signalling strong demand and operational resilience across markets.

Momentum was driven by disciplined execution of strategy and sustained commercial traction. The business combined steady expansion within its established customer base with a decisive push into untapped “white space” markets, broadening its global footprint and reducing reliance on any single region.

“I am delighted with the achievements of our F&F business. By delivering consistent year-on-year growth and leveraging meaningful synergies across the Croda Group, it continues to be a key pillar of our Consumer Care business,” said Sandra Breene, President of Consumer Care at Croda.

The milestone year also coincides with five years since Iberchem joined Croda—a period during which the business has doubled its annual sales, underscoring the impact of integration and scale.

“We are proud of the solid results delivered over the year, particularly given the demanding market backdrop and high prior-year comparables. This year marks our fifth anniversary since joining Croda, during which time we have doubled annual sales.

"This performance reflects the strength of the Iberchem business model, one built on agility, continuous innovation and deep customer intimacy. These attributes enable us to consistently create value for our partners,” said José Balibrea, Managing Director of Iberchem and VP of Fragrances & Flavours at Croda.

Looking ahead, the division is accelerating its expansion plans to sustain growth momentum. A major new site in China is set to come online, creating a comprehensive hub for research, development and production, while further capacity upgrades at Parfex and Iberchem headquarters aim to strengthen manufacturing capabilities.

Recent investments are already paying off. New and expanded facilities—including Barcelona’s Creative Centre, Parfex’s R&D hub and Scentium’s upgraded production base—are contributing strongly, positioning the business for another year of growth despite ongoing global uncertainty.
