Dai-ichi Karkaria reports rise in sales in March 2020 quarter
The net sales touched Rs. 26.37 crore in March 2020 up 33.38% from Rs.19.77 crore in March 2019.

Dai-ichi Karkaria Ltd has posted growth in net sales however the losses were significant as compared to last year. The net sales touched Rs. 26.37 crore in March 2020 up 33.38% from Rs.19.77 crore in March 2019. Quarterly net loss stood at Rs. 6.63 crore in March 2020 down 241.75% from Rs. 1.94 crore in March 2019.
For the full year, net loss reported to Rs 22.92 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against net loss of Rs 12.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2019. Sales rose 16.05% to Rs 107.17 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 92.35 crore during the previous year ended March 2019.
The company has also informed the exchange about resignation of one of its independent director, Behram Maneck Sorabji with effect from 9th June, 2020. In his resignation letter, Sorabji has stated the reason for resigning that on account of his pre-occupation and ongoing health issues. He has also confirmed that there is no other material reason other than what is stated in his resignation.
