Deepak Fertilisers Q2 PAT up 70%

Consolidated net profit at Rs. 46.18 crores in Q2 as against Rs. 26.76 crores for the same period last year

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation today posted a 72.57 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 46.18 crores in the second quarter of this fiscal on strong sales. Its net profit stood at Rs 26.76 crores in the same period last year.

Deepak Fertilisers consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 1231 crores, registering 27.5 per cent yoy increase. This was driven by rise in revenue from Fertilisers and Chemicals by 43 per cent yoy and 12% yoy, respectively.

In Fertilizer segment, the Company ramped up its NPK production from the newly commissioned NPK plant and produced additional NPK volumes of 91,743 MT during 02 resulting in a significant 43 per cent  growth in revenues. EBITDA for the quarter rose by 56.9 per cent oy to Rs. 144 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 218 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 11.7per cent.
