DFPCL’s subsidiary Performance Chemiserve commissions production of new ammonia greenfield plant

The installed production capacity of the new plant is 1500 MT per day

Performance Chemiserve Limited, wholly owned material subsidiary of the Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (DFPCL) has informed the BSE Limited with respect to commencement of commercial production of its new Ammonia Greenfield Plant situated at Plot No. E31, MIDC Industrial Area, MIDC Main Road, Taloja MIDC, Taloja, Raigad, Maharashtra – 410208.

The installed production capacity of the new plant is 1500 MT per day.

The commissioning of the ammonia plant which has world class energy efficient technology, will serve majority of the Group’s captive needs, mitigating price volatility and global supply vagaries.

This backward integration project will enable forex savings through import substitution, besides beautifully aligning us with the India growth story.

With this facility, the Group will significantly reduce its dependency on imported ammonia, which will also enhance operational efficiencies.

Ammonia is a key ingredient and a critical raw material for each of the business segments of DFPCL.
