DuPont to build USD 30 mn adhesives plant in Zhangjiagang, China

The company expects to begin construction in Q3, with the facility becoming operational by early 2023.

DuPont is looking to build a USD 30 mn manufacturing facility in Zhangjiagang, East China. The facility will support vehicle electrification applications and lightweighting, serving the transport industry.

The company expects to begin construction in Q3, with the facility becoming operational by early 2023.

DuPont also recently established an adhesives facility in Utsunomiya, Japan, to support growth in automotive electrification.

This new manufacturing facility will have the capacity to extend their leadership position in China and Asia, while having access to transportation for shipping and logistics.

The facility is the latest of their global prowess, with an adhesives facility recently opened in Japan, Utsunomiya, to support vehicle electrification as well.
