The event featured a series of focused presentations by industry and domain experts, offering both strategic and application-level insights
Fluoropolymers play a critical yet often understated role in enabling performance across industries ranging from mobility and infrastructure to electronics and chemical processing. Recognizing the need for deeper, more application-focused engagement with customers, Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL) recently hosted Fluoro Connect, a dedicated meet aimed at fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
Held in Hyatt, Bharuch on 24th April 2026, the event brought together around 70 end users from Chemical Industries and reputed Engineering Consultancy firms, including key decision-makers and technical experts. The platform was designed not as a traditional presentation-led forum, but as an interactive space for discussing real-world challenges, performance expectations, and emerging opportunities.
The event featured a series of focused presentations by industry and domain experts, offering both strategic and application-level insights. GFL team opened the session with a welcome address by Anurag Gulati, GM – Sales & Marketing, followed by a company overview presented by Deepak Sharma, AVP – Sales & Marketing. Kapil Malhotra, Global Business Unit Head – Fluoropolymers, shared a perspective on the evolving fluoropolymer industry landscape.
A key highlight of the program was the technical session on challenges in the lining segment and the role of fluoropolymers in chemical processing industries, delivered by Raxit Rodiya, AGM – BD & Marketing followed by an interactive Q&A. This was complemented by technical and product presentations from Priyank Dalal, AGM – Technical, and Shriraj Modi, AGM – R&D, focusing on applications and performance benefits of fluoropolymers, including PVDF in membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems. Mr Roy Philip, Consultant, GFL also helped to answer customer queries related to fluoropolymer lining applications.
The event also featured an external perspective from Chandragupta Prakash Mangal and Tarak Kavi from Mangalam Worldwide Limited (MWL), who spoke on critical applications of stainless-steel pipes and tubes in chemical processing and refinery environments. The sessions concluded with a vote of thanks by Anurag Gulati, followed by networking interactions over dinner.
A key highlight of Fluoro Connect was the depth and quality of technical discussions. Customers actively engaged in conversations around application-specific requirements, exploring how fluoropolymer solutions can address evolving industry needs. The sessions enabled a two-way exchange of insights, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in driving innovation.
The event also underscored a broader shift in B2B engagement—from product-centric conversations to solution-oriented partnerships. By bringing together technical expertise and customer perspectives, Fluoro Connect positioned itself as a platform for co-creating value.
As industries continue to demand higher performance and reliability from materials, such initiatives play an important role in bridging the gap between capability and application.
Fluoro Connect marks the beginning of what GFL envisions as an ongoing engagement platform—one that will continue to evolve with industry needs and strengthen long-term customer partnerships.
