Fine Organics registers rise in quarterly profit on lower sales

The company reported growth of 29.03% and the net profit stood at Rs 34.36 crore

Fine Organic Industries Ltd reported a rise in profits amid lower sales in Q4FY20. The company reported growth of 29.03% and the net profit stood at Rs 34.36 crore in the quarter as against Rs 26.63 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. The sales declined 13.02% to Rs 247.28 crore as against Rs 284.28 crore last year.
 
For the full year, net profit rose 20.97% to Rs 164.78 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 136.21 crore in 2019. The sales declined 2.10% to Rs 1038.08 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 1060.33 crore in the previous year.
 
The management recommended Dividend of Rs.3/- per equity share of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up for the financial year ended March 31, 2020.
