Galaxy Surfactants restarts operations at Tarapur unit

On 13 April, two workers were killed and another was injured after a small intermediate feed tank blast at its Tarapur M-3 plant.

Galaxy Surfactants Limited has restarted operations at its units in Tarapur (including the location where the incident occurred) in a phased manner after receiving necessary permissions from the statutory authorities.
 
On 13 April, two workers were killed and another was injured after a small intermediate feed tank blast at its Tarapur M-3 plant. This was the first accident during the national lockdown in an industrial unit manufacturing essential products in Palghar district.
 
The company is into manufacturing of performance surfactants and specialty care products with over 200 product grades. These products are used in consumer-centric home and personal care products like hair care, oral care, skin care, cosmetics, soap, shampoo, lotion, detergent, cleaning products etc.
