GNFC resumes manufacturing operations

The company has resumed work of the Ethyl Acetate, Ammonium Nitrate Melt and Concentrated Nitric Acid -1 plants at Bharuch complex.

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. (GNFC) Informed the exchanges about the resumption of manufacturing operations on Tuesday. The company has resumed work of the Ethyl Acetate, Ammonium Nitrate Melt and Concentrated Nitric Acid-1 plants at Bharuch complex.
 
The company had shut down its plants at Bharuch & Dahej complex, due to prevailing critical situation caused by the spread of COVID-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown.
 
Further the company has decided to restart the operation of all other plants in a phased manner, stated the notification.
 
GNFC is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of chemicals, fertilizers and information technology. The company manufactures and markets fertiliser such as urea, ammonium nitrophosphate and calcium ammonium nitrate under the brand NARMADA. The company has also set up core chemical and petrochemical plants that manufactures products such as methanol, formic acid, nitric acid, acetic acid etc.
