Goa Carbon shuts down Odisha unit for maintenance
The Paradeep unit has been temporarily shut-down for maintenance work from 15th August 2020.

The operations at Goa Carbon Ltd's Paradeep Unit located at Vill, Udayabata, Paradeepgarh, Dist. Jagatsinghpur, Odisha has been temporarily shut-down for maintenance work from 15th August 2020.
Earlier, the Paradeep unit had to be shut for a month from 24th March till 24th April 2020 as a proactive measure towards the containment of the spread of Covid-19.
The company is a regular supplier to aluminium smelters, graphite electrode and Titanium Dioxide manufacturers, as well as other users in the matallurgical and chemical industries.
