Against this backdrop, Godrej Industries (Chemicals) and Astec LifeSciences will host the third edition of the National Chemistry Day Summit on August 17, 2026, at Godrej One, Mumbai. The summit is held in honour of the birth anniversary of Sir Prafulla Chandra Ray, widely regarded as the father of the Indian chemical industry. 

Launched in 2024, National Chemistry Day Summit aims to celebrate India’s scientific legacy while creating a platform to examine the forces shaping the future of the chemical industry. This year’s theme, “Staying Resilient in a New Age World,” puts the spotlight on how businesses can navigate rapidly changing markets, technological disruption and an increasingly interconnected global economy. 

The summit will bring together industry stakeholders, policymakers and innovation partners to examine how deeper collaboration can help build a more future-ready chemical ecosystem. Discussions will focus on agility, digital transformation and operational excellence, alongside the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in driving the industry’s next phase of development.
