Godrej Industries to raise Rs. 750 crore via NCD's

Company's management board has approved the memorandum for issuance of upto 7,500 rated, listed, unsecured, redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures having face value of Rs. 10,00,000 each.

The Management Committee of the Board of Directors of Godrej Industries Ltd has today, i.e. on October 22, 2020, has approved the information memorandum for issuance of upto 7,500, Rated, Listed, Unsecured, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures having face value of Rs.10,00,000 each, aggregating to Rs.750 crores on private placement basis.
 
Godrej Industries Ltd is India's leading manufacturer of oleochemicals and makes more than a hundred chemicals for use in over two dozen industries.The company also has a modern, integrated manufacturing facility at Valia in the Indian state of Gujarat. This facility uses vegetable oils as the raw material to manufacture fatty acids, glycerin, fatty alcohols & surfactants such as sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium lauryl ether sulphate & alpha olefin sulphonate. The company is also engagged in the business of real estate, chemicals and finance investments.
