Jayant Agro Organics Ltd reported a steep decline in its revenues as well as profit during Q2 FY21. 

 

Company's sales declined 67.98% to Rs 262.14 crore in the quarter ended June 2020 as against Rs 818.76 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2019.

 

Net profit also declined by 31.50% and stood at Rs 6.46 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 9.43 crore in the same period last fiscal.

 

The impact on its business operation for the quarter under review was limited to the extent of disruption in production under lock down. 

 

With respect to the liquidity and financial position and based on management's review of the current indicators and economic conditions, there is no material impact on its financial position as at June 30, 2020. The impact assessment of COVID - 19 is a continuing process given the uncertainties associated with its nature and duration and accordingly the impact may be different from that estimated as at the date of approval of these financial results. The company said it continues to closely monitor the rapidly changing situation.
