Nagarjuna Fertilizers restarts production of urea at Kakinada

The operating ammonia urea plant was temporarily shut down on July 1, 2020, due to the non-execution of amendment to the escrow agreement of the company.

Nagarjuna Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited has restarted production of urea from Plant-1 of Kakinada plant in Andhra Pradesh from July 25, 2020.
 
“We wish to inform that, the company has executed amendment to the escrow agreement with the lenders and gas supplier and has restarted production of Urea from Plant - 1 of Kakinada Plant, Andhra Pradesh on July 25, 2020,” the company informed the exchanges.
 
The operating ammonia urea plant was temporarily shut down on July 1, 2020, due to the non-execution of amendment to the escrow agreement of the company.
