NPL Industries Pvt Ltd has sought environmental clearance for its proposed plant of textile auxiliaries, binders and plasticisers at Bidaj in Gujarat’s Kheda district.
In its presentation to the Ministry of Environment and Forests, the company said that the total estimated project cost is Rs 1737 lakh.
The company said it intends to set up manufacturing plant for production of 5000 MT of textile auxiliaries, binders and plasticisers per month.
The total land to be acquired for the unit is 9500 sq m.
The company said fresh water requirement for the unit is 150 KLD. It also said that waste water generation will be 51 KLD and it will be reused within the unit
premises after due course of treatment.
The power requirement is 200 KW while lignite and agro briquettes will be used for the boiler.

1. Textile binders: 1000 MTPM
2. Textile Polysols: 1000 MTPM
3. Adhesives: 1200 MTPM
4. Paint Binder: 600 MTPM
5. Lather Binder: 200 MTPM
6. Auxiliaries: 500 MTPM
7. Plasticisers: 500 MTPM
The company said that the site is open land and no construction activity has been started. It said there are no reserve forest, national park or wildlife sanctuary
within 10 km radius of the project site.
According to the company, there will be development of greenbelt in 4800 sq m area of the total land.
