Omkar Speciality Chemicals reported a robust growth in revenues and profit after tax for the quarter ended, Mar. 31, 2011. The profit after tax for the quarter ended Mar. 31, 2011 stood at Rs. 2.97 crore as against Rs 1.34 crore in the corresponding period of the last quarter. Similarly, the company also saw an increase in net sales by an impressive 73.26 percent from Rs. 17.97 crore to Rs. 31.14 crore during the same period for the last quarter.

Whereas for the year ended Mar. 31, 2011, the company saw an increase in net sales by an impressive 56.19 percent from Rs. 68.34 crore to Rs. 106.76 crore. The profit after tax for the year ended March 31, 2011 stood at Rs. 10.14 crore, resulting into an increase of 95.68 percent, as against Rs. 5.18 crore in the corresponding period of the last fiscal.
