Silox India acquires 35 acres land at Payal Industrial Park

This new site will attract significant capital investment to build new capacities

Silox India, a subsidiary of Silox group, Belgium and a JV with Transpek group has acquired 35 acres of new greenfield industrial site at Payal Industrial Park (PIP), Dahej, Gujarat.

Silox India specializes in inorganic chemistry and manufactures and markets various chemicals which are used in a wide range of sectors such as automotive, textiles, pulp and papers, coatings, and new energy vehicles, etc. The company is a global leader in Sodium Formaldehyde Sulphoxylate (Safolite) and Zinc Formaldehyde Sulphoxylate (Safolin).

The company has three manufacturing sites operating in India for more than 20 years and exports more than 40% of the production capacity to more than 65 countries across the world.

Commenting on the recent development, Prakash Raman, Managing Director, Silox India said, "This new site will attract significant capital investment spread over the next few years to build new capacities for its existing products and to build industrial scale plants for its new innovation products which are on pipeline. This reinforces Silox group confidence in India as it will significantly expand its India presence to serve domestic and global markets effectively.

"These new investments will meet the future growth, sustainable development aspirations of the company and will contribute significantly to our customers, community and all our stakeholders," added Raman.
