SRF commissions Rs. 371 crore fluorocarbon refrigerant gas facility

SRF also commissioned and capitalized its manufacturing facility for manufacture of aluminium foil at an aggregate cost of Rs. 536 crores

SRF announced the completion of its fluorocarbon refrigerant gas capacity expansion project (HFC) on December 30.

The project, approved by the board in July 2021, cost Rs 317 crore. This initiative is aimed at raising the production capacity of the refrigerant gas and integrating supply chains into the project. The commissioning of the project signifies its successful implementation, allowing SRF to enhance its capabilities in producing and supplying fluorocarbon refrigerant gas.

Meanwhile, SRF, through its wholly owned subsidiary, SRF Altech Limited, commissioned and capitalized its manufacturing facility for manufacture of aluminium foil at an aggregate cost of Rs. 536 crores  on 01st January 2024.
