Ultramarine & Pigments Ltd has successfully commissioned the Sulphonation plant set up at Plot No. 59A, 60 & 61, Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) Industrial Park, Naidupet, SPSR Nellore in the state of Andhra Pradesh to manufacture surfactants / specialty chemicals.

The commercial production of the plant has commenced on 8th January 2021.

Ultramarine & Pigments Ltd (UPL) makes inorganic pigments and organic surfactants. It is currently one of the largest manufacturers of ultramarine blue pigment in India.
