Zuari Agro resumes production at NPK fertiliser plant in Goa
Plant was shut due to non-availability of labor and spread of Covid-19 pandemic in the industrial belt around the plant.

Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd has earlier announced the shutdown of NPK - A plant due to Covid-19 pandemic in the industrial belt around the plant. Non-availability of manpower had adversely affected the operations due to which the plant had to be shut down for more than a month.
In view of improvement in Covid-19 situation, NPK-A plant of the company has resumed production effective August 17, 2020.
The plant is expected to operate until the production of around 50,000 MT of complex fertilisers, said the company in its filing to the exchanges.
