Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has opened a new AI-native Creative Engineering Studio in London as the IT services major steps up its push into AI-led customer experience, creative engineering and digital transformation.

The 4,500-square-feet studio, operated by TCS Interactive, will bring together creative, industry and engineering teams to work with businesses on new customer experiences, revenue growth, market expansion and operational efficiency.

The London facility is also part of TCS’ broader commitment to the UK and Ireland, including plans to create 5,000 new jobs across the region over the next three years.

Vinay Singhvi, Head – UK & Ireland, TCS, said, “The UK&I is a vital market for TCS, and this studio reflects our commitment to driving innovation for our clients and AI-led creative engineering. This expansion underscores our confidence in the UK’s strong technology ecosystem and aligns with the government’s vision for fostering innovation.”

The new studio strengthens TCS Interactive’s global network, following the launch of its New York studio in 2025. TCS said the London hub will give regional clients greater access to its AI-led creative engineering capabilities while connecting them to the company’s wider global studio network.

The move comes as businesses accelerate the adoption of AI and rethink how content, products and customer experiences are designed and delivered. TCS said the studio will enable clients to move ideas from concept to scalable business outcomes faster by combining strategy, product design, engineering, domain expertise and insights.

Kamal Bhadada, President, TCS Interactive, said, “Our vision is to help our clients unlock new growth opportunities by orchestrating strategy, product design, engineering, and insights with an AI-led approach. The London studio is at the heart of this global network of hybrid talent connecting our UK clients to our global capabilities around the world to create and activate new experiences, drive adoption, and sustain growth through insights.”

The London studio will operate as an extension of TCS Interactive, TCS’ digital design, marketing and experience-led transformation arm. It will provide clients with a co-creation environment where designers, strategists, domain experts and engineers can work together and scale capabilities as business requirements evolve.

The studio is also designed to serve as a gateway to TCS’ global network, combining local UK market knowledge with the company’s international expertise.

Nitish Mittal, Partner at Everest Group, said, “For years, enterprises treated design and engineering as separate phases; brief one team, hand off to the next, and hope the experience survives the journey. What clients want now is those disciplines working as one, shifting from 'can we use AI' to 'can we use it to create experiences customers genuinely value.' The kind of dedicated, co-creation space TCS is opening in London is an example of how that convergence might happen, close to the client and the work.”

TCS said the London launch builds on its track record of helping brands drive profitable growth and reflects a broader evolution in its talent strategy as AI transforms industry operations and client requirements.

The company is increasingly targeting multidisciplinary talent that combines creative capabilities with business expertise and technology skills, positioning the London studio as a focal point for that approach.
