BPCL ships 1G bio-ethanol from Bargarh Refinery

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) marked a significant clean energy step as Sanjay Khanna, Director (Refineries), who also holds additional charge as Chairman & Managing Director of BPCL, flagged off the first tanker of 1G Bio-Ethanol from Bargarh Refinery for the Raipur Depot, boosting India's Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) program and domestic biofuel production, aligning with the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' vision for energy security and green growth.

This historic move shows BPCL's dedication to Atmanirbhar Bharat by boosting local biofuel, aligning with India's shift to sustainable energy, and achieving national green goals, making India more energy independent.

During his visit, Khanna reviewed the bio-refinery and praised the teams for their collaboration in achieving this landmark.
