DCM Shriram approves Rs 217 crore renewable energy expansion

The investment secures ~48 MW additional renewable energy supply, elevating Bharuch plant's total RE capacity from 50.4 MW peak to 98.4 MW

DCM Shriram Limited's Board approved up to Rs 87 crore equity investment in one or more Special Purpose Vehicles for minimum 26% stake, plus Rs 130 crore capital expenditure for related infrastructure at its Bharuch Plant.

The investment secures ~48 MW additional renewable energy supply (~30 MW round-the-clock at 75% capacity utilization factor), elevating Bharuch plant's total RE capacity from 50.4 MW peak to 98.4 MW.

The completion is targeted for June 2027.
