HPCL and OIL inks MoU to explore opportunities in renewable energy, CCUS and green hydrogen

HPCL and OIL India Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore new business opportunities in the energy sector, including oil & gas, sustainable and renewable energy, carbon capture utilisation and storage, and green hydrogen.

Dr. Ranjit Rath, C&MD, Oil India emphasized the significant potential for carbon sequestration and storage in the gas fields of Rajasthan and Assam.

Dr. Pushp Kumar Joshi, CMD, HPCL highlighted the powerful synergy between the two maharatnas, showcasing their past association and envisioning this MoU as a new benchmark in the oil & gas and renewable space.

This lagreement was signed in the presence of the CMDs and Functional Directors of both HPCL and OIL.
