India Glycols bags Rs. 1,264.20 crore Ethanol order from OMCs and oil companies

The company has been allocated quantities for the supply of ethanol being produced from Damaged Food Grains and surplus FCI rice from its plants

India Glycols Limited has been allocated quantities through tender participation for supply of 18.06 crore liters of Ethanol with an estimated value aggregating to Rs. 1,264.20 crores under Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme (EBPP) during Ethanol Supply Year from 1st November, 2024 till 31st October, 2025.

The company has been allocated quantities for the supply of ethanol being produced from Damaged Food Grains (DFG) and surplus FCI rice from its plants (Kashipur and Gorakhpur) under the Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme (EBPP) during Ethanol Supply Year from 1st November, 2024 till 31st October, 2025 (ESY 2024- 25).

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have collectively given 1,227.10 crore whereas Reliance Industries Ltd. and Nayara Energy Limited (collectively referred as oil companies) have collectively given Rs. 37.10 crore.
