Linde India invests Rs. 7.69 crore in FPEL Surya

The company will purchase renewable power under captive mechanism from FPEL Surya Private Limited

Linde India Limited has invested a sum of Rs. 7.69 crore in FPEL Surya Private Limited towards subscription of 15,39,000 equity shares (26%) of face value Rs. 10 each (allotted at a premium of Rs. 40 each).

Linde India will purchase renewable power under captive mechanism from FPEL Surya Private Limited which will result in a lower tariff and consequent cost savings.

Incorporated on 11th September 2021, FPEL Surya Private Limited is engaged in the business of establishing, commissioning, setting operation and generation of electricity through renewable energy source such as wind, solar, and/or any other means in India or elsewhere, including transmission, distribution, supply and sale of such power either directly or through transmission lines and facilities of central/state governments or private companies or Electricity Broad to industries and to central/state government and other consumers of electricity including captive consumption.
