Worley and SAMSUNG E&A have signed a Master Framework Agreement to jointly pursue selected projects across the US energy and industrial markets, combining their engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) capabilities to strengthen project delivery and give customers greater confidence before committing capital.

The agreement brings together Worley’s established Gulf Coast presence, project delivery expertise and deep customer relationships with SAMSUNG E&A’s global EPC capabilities, supply chain strength and modularization expertise.

By aligning earlier in project development, the companies aim to integrate their capabilities from front-end engineering through project execution, helping customers identify risks sooner, improve project certainty and strengthen delivery outcomes.

“Customers want greater certainty before committing significant capital,” said Chris Ashton, Worley CEO. “Combining our project development and delivery capabilities with SAMSUNG E&A’s disciplined execution model will help customers identify risks earlier and build greater confidence in project outcomes.”

The partnership comes as SAMSUNG E&A targets opportunities in a US market with a strong pipeline of major energy and industrial developments.

“The US is an important market for SAMSUNG E&A, with a strong pipeline of major energy and industrial projects,” said Hong Namkoong, President and CEO of SAMSUNG E&A.

“Together with Worley, we can bring customers competitive execution capabilities, strong local and global relationships and the experience needed to deliver these complex projects.”

The companies are already moving to identify and advance priority opportunities through customer engagements, signalling a push to translate the framework into potential project wins across the US market.
