Chambal Fertilisers commences weak nitric acid production at Gadepan

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited has achieved a key milestone in its ongoing specialty chemicals expansion. The company has officially commenced production of Weak Nitric Acid (WNA) at its existing industrial site located in Gadepan, District Kota, Rajasthan.

Weak Nitric Acid serves as a critical intermediary material for the site's broader manufacturing ecosystem. Following this milestone, Chambal Fertilisers confirmed that the production of subsequent downstream products, including Ammonium Nitrate Solution (ANS) and prilled High Density Ammonium Nitrate (HDAN), is on track to commence in due course.

The phased rollout represents a targeted expansion for Chambal Fertilisers into the Technical Ammonium Nitrate market, leveraging its established infrastructure in Rajasthan to supply high-demand industrial application components.
