GSFC commissions new sulphuric acid plant at Vadodara

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GSFC) officially commenced commercial production at its new sulphuric acid manufacturing plant in Fertilizernagar, Vadodara on January 7, 2026.

The plant has an installed daily manufacturing capacity of 600 Metric Tonnes Per Day (MTPD) of sulphuric acid.

The commissioning marks the transition from the development and testing phase to active commercial operations. It is intended to strengthen GSFC's position as a key supplier in the fertilizer and chemicals sector.

Located within the Fertilizernagar unit, the plant leverages GSFC's existing infrastructure and expertise to meet growing industrial and domestic demand.
