Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) marked its 11th Foundation Day at its Barauni unit with a high-energy celebration, highlighting over a decade of growth, innovation, and commitment to strengthening India’s agricultural sector.
The event was attended by key leadership including Chairman Virendra Malik and Managing Director Siba Prasad Mohanty, along with members of the Board, senior officials, employees, and their families.
The day opened with a detailed presentation by the Business Unit Head, HURL Barauni, showcasing strong performance across production, operational excellence, safety standards, energy efficiency, sustainability efforts, and the roadmap for future expansion.
The leadership team also took part in a Tree Plantation Drive, reinforcing the company’s focus on environmental responsibility and sustainable development. They later toured key plant facilities, reviewing the unit’s advanced infrastructure, modern technology systems, and robust safety frameworks.
In his address, Managing Director Siba Prasad Mohanty reflected on HURL’s journey over the past eleven years, crediting its progress to collective effort and a shared vision. He praised the workforce, saying the organization’s milestones have come through dedication, resilience, and a consistent drive for excellence.
A major highlight of the celebration was the Employee Recognition Awards Ceremony, where outstanding performers were honoured for their contribution to the company’s success.
